Organize 'neighborhood days' to meet new people and strengthen connections.

Encourage intergenerational activities so youngsters and older residents can learn from each other and get to know each other

Provide grants for resident-led projects that make streets friendlier or greener.

We do not only want to be able to "speak", we also want to be able to "act". Grassroots initiatives most be allowed to act (they must be given some sort of mandate) so that people aren't discouraged by red tape l

Support local “help each other” networks where residents can offer small favors (shopping, gardening).
